Budget Truck Rentals are not only used for moving. One of the most popular rental choices for our customers at Budget Trucks is hiring 4WD or all-terrain vehicles to traverse through some of Australia’s most rugged terrain. When you decide to holiday in Australia’s outback or a rugged national park, you need a 4WD vehicle to get to your adventure safely. One important thing to remember is that you don’t need a 4WD to get to all outback destinations, so if you are unsure, ask our knowledgeable agents. That is why we always say to share your itinerary with our agents when planning a car or truck hire for your holiday. We are here to help with the right vehicle recommendations and even travel tips. When you travel through remote areas in Australia, it is very important to plan ahead and pay close attention to the posted safety precautions, carry emergency supplies, protect your skin from the sun, keep plenty of drinking water on hand, and let someone not travelling with you know where you are going and when you are expected back. Here are three very different 4WD adventures throughout Australia. Continue reading
