Gladstone and Tannum Sands are two cities in the Gladstone Region of Queensland. They are located adjacent to each other with Tannum Sands just south of Gladstone. Both cities are right on the coast and residents can enjoy the proximity to the southern section of the Great Barrier Reef.

Gladstone is a city located in the region that bares the same name. Tannum Sands is a coastal town situated on the Boyne River. You might also look into moving to Boyne Island, Tannum Sands’ twin town on the other side of the Boyne River. It’s a mix of residential and tourists. The beaches are patrolled and fishing is quite popular. In fact, it’s home to Australia’s largest family fishing event called the Boyne Tannum Hookup.
