Over the past two months we have been highlighting some of the best 4WD destinations and adventures in Australia. This is the 4th installment in our blog series. Mildura, Victoria and Wentworth, New South Wales are two adjacent cities on the opposite sides of the Victoria and New South Wales border. They are located inland and also very close to South Australia. These two cities are growing in popularity and population. The combined population of these cities is over 50,000. Wagga Wagga is a city in New South Wales that straddles the Murrumbidgee River. It is New South Wales’ largest inland city with a population of over 55,000. Important industries in Wagga Wagga include agricultural, military, and transport. It is located halfway in between the two largest cities in Australia, Sydney and Melbourne.
